What a couple of weeks it has been. Things have not worked out so well for me. My teammates have been overly busy with stuff that no one had the time to upgrade my computer. I ain’t much of a tech guy and when it comes to formatting and installing things I just don’t have a clue. Well, for the past weeks I was unable to type ‘coz I did not have Microsoft Word. I found myself sending documents through email to my friends and printing out from their computers. It was an irritating time. Till I took matters into my own hands and finally installed what I needed to get by.
Ephesians 4:3 says, “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”
A couple of years ago my dad was going through a rough patch in his ministry. Because I live so far from my family, I did not know the density of things so I did what any other Christian would do; I took it to the Lord. I remember on a Sabbath worship I had with my friends, I explained things to them and we had a special season of prayer for my dad. One thing I recall that truly moved me was the reminder that we are already victors. 1 Corinthians 15:57 says “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” After they shared that thought with me we went on to sing a song that has since become a favorite of mine, Victory in Jesus.
